What Causes Fall Allergies?
Ragweed is considered as the major allergy trigger during the fall. The yellow-flowering weed begins releasing pollen in the month of August that lasts up to September and October. The large number of people who are allergic to spring plants also have the allergy for ragweed.
Ragweed pollen tends to go around. Even when it does not grow close to your location, it travels to hundreds of miles with wind. For those who have the allergic reactions to ragweed, foods including melon, zucchini, bananas and other vegetables & fruits can also cause symptoms.
